Disclaimer
Cherylin skin care products are generally safe and effective. However, every skin is individual and despite efforts to cater for most types and offer a service to those with specific skin complaints, it is not possible to predict an individual person’s reaction to a particular treatment or ingredient. The purchaser should therefore seek advice from a qualified doctor.
Cherylin Skin Therapy does not accept responsibility for any ill effects that may arise from using the products from this website, catalogue or newsletters.
Similarly, it is not the responsibility of Cherylin Skin Therapy if the recipes offered in the newsletter are not followed correctly, nor is it possible to predict an individual person’s reaction to a particular recipe or treatment. The safe and proper use of all ingredients and of the recipes in the newsletters is the sole responsibility of the person (s) using them. Likewise the author is not responsible for any allergic reactions.
None of the advice on the website or in the newsletter should be mistaken for medical advice. Any concerns about any condition a user may have should be addressed by a qualified doctor.
It is always advisable to test a new product for sensitivity and to check that a product is suitable for a particular skin type, especially for those with sensitive and reactive skin types. A basic skin test can be done at home by testing the product on a site where any dermatitis is not apparent. The back of the knees, on the forearm or behind the ears are suggested places. Unless you react immediately, test the product for a couple of days and check for itching, stinging, redness or a feeling of heat.
Any on-going skin problems should be checked out with your doctor who may advise seeing a dermatologist and referral for patch testing as a way of identifying which substance that comes in contact with the skin is causing inflammation of the skin (contact dermatitis).
